Lawrence Jenkins has shown significant personal growth during his time in prison, developing skills like teamwork, communication, leadership, confidence, and creativity. I can attest to his character and progress firsthand, having lived with his parents and witnessed his dedication to his mother. I believe he is ready to reintegrate into society successfully.
I have been serving as a pastor for more than 44 years. I strongly support Lawrence Jenkins’s release, as he has the potential to positively contribute to the community by sharing his knowledge of planting and running a nursery. He could also serve as a mentor to young boys, guiding them away from making similar mistakes. I believe that Lawrence Jenkins will contribute positively to society and, most importantly, not pose a danger to society.
I believe that although Lawrence took a detour in life, we all have peaks and valleys, and I believe that nothing happens that God didn’t allow. However after these many years of incarceration Lawrence has acquired a multitude of skills which he added to his already God given talents. I believe if Lawrence is given another opportunity to enter back into the mainstream of society he would be quite an asset. The Teenagers today who are at risk I feel he would be a great mentor and teacher.
